depending on their designation, the following types of belts with textiles ( pp, ep ) or metal cord type fleximat ( iwr ), used for the carcass of the belts with smooth or chevron surface are produced ( din 22 102 ):
- GENERAL PURPOSE – normal and abrasion-resistant.
- SPECIAL PURPOSE – heat-resistant, fire-resistant, antistatic, oil-resistant, and cold-resistant.
The construction of the belts is of two basic elements:Carcass from different types of textiles or metal cord Fleximat type.
The belts are produced with varied number of plies (1 – 6) depending o n the order of the client and the working conditions.
For the production of heavy-duty belts one or two protective plies (breakers) areput.
Rubber covers – top and bottom.
Cover thickness: top – 3 to 10 mm, bottom – 2 to 5 mm.
Depending o n the rubber cover several types of normal, abrasion – resistant, heat – resistant, antistatic, oil – resistant and cold – resistant belts with smooth or shevron surface are produced.
KAUCHUK recommends a big variety types of conveyor belts for heavy, medium and light duty, depending o n the working conditions and o n the kind of materials to be conveyed. At the request of the client they can be produced in other widths not mentioned above. The thickness of the conveyor belts are up to 25 mm.
The thickness of the belts and the thickness of the rubber covers can be negotiated.
Belts without rubber covers, molded and cut edges can be produced.
The belts are produced on Zimpelkamp presses and Zell modern machines
the length of the belts can also be negotiated. The belts are delivered in rolls of 50 to 300 l.m. tied with a metal strip. The conveyor belts are produced in the standard widths (inmm) : 300, 500, 650, 700, 800, 900, 1000, 1200, 1400, 1600, 1800, 2000, 2200, 2250, and 2500.
They can be used in the mining, metallurgy and other industrial branches.
